The geopolitical tensions between the USA and Russia are a major political risk for multinational enterprises. Austrian enterprises are particular prone to the constellation, due to the country’s Russia friendly foreign policy. In the future, the associated political risks might further increase. This proofs that political risk management is of growing importance. Developing political risk management tools, the research project STRATOS plays an important role.
