On 2nd of March Johannes Leitner, Head f the Competence Center for Black Sea Region Studies, joined the  Panel 1: The EU as a Global Actor? as participant within the framework of the conference Diplomatic Academy Students Initiative Conference (DASICON).

Johannes Leitner assessed the EU´s economic influence in post-soviet states and elaborated the EUs expanded engagement with Central Asia since the early 1990s.
